# ReptiMarket joins Responsible Reptile Keeping (RRK)
We are delighted to announce that **ReptiMarket has become an official member of Responsible Reptile Keeping (RRK)** – an international initiative bringing together breeders, experts and companies operating in the terrarium industry.
**Responsible Reptile Keeping (RRK)** is a global educational and information organisation whose mission is to promote reliable, science-based information on reptile husbandry and welfare. RRK actively combats misinformation and debunks myths about the terrarium hobby, presenting facts rather than emotions or sensationalist claims.
False information regarding reptile keeping can lead to the introduction of unjustified legal restrictions, which negatively affect not only responsible keepers, but also animal welfare and the functioning of the entire industry. That is why RRK produces professional educational materials, promotes fact-based dialogue and gives a voice to responsible breeders and business owners.
At ReptiMarket, we have always prioritised responsible breeding, education and building an informed community. Membership of the RRK is a natural step for us and a confirmation of the values that guide our business.
We believe that together we can effectively promote truth, science and a responsible approach to terrarium keeping, safeguarding the future of reptile breeding and the entire terrarium community.
**Together, we can make a difference.**
